Calorific Value
Charcoal from the Marabu wood species has a calorific value of 7000 Kcal/kg. The product looks completely different from other types of charcoal because the Marabu is a type of bush. Therefore, the shape of the charcoal will be long and round. (stick-shaped)

Moisture Content
Black Ranch Marabu contains about 6.7% moisture and will therefore ignite with very little smoke.

Ash
Compared to Black Ranch quebracho, there will be slightly more ash because the production process in Cuba is not as advanced as in South America. The ash content after burning is about 6%.

Use
We recommend Black Ranch Marabu for all grilling devices but especially for use in the kamado or in an open grill, this is an extremely good product because there is a long burning time and a very neutral odor and taste.
