Weather conditions and soil processes can acidify the soil over time. In an acidic soil, plants are less able to absorb nutrients. The consequence: growth slows down and plants are more susceptible to diseases and pests. A good acidity level, or pH value, is therefore essential for the soil. This way, crops in the vegetable garden, plants, and the lawn can better absorb nutrients. This leads to better growth. Additionally, reducing acidity decreases the chances of moss. AZ-Kalk contains a special composition that optimizes the soil's acidity level. You can never use too much.
Instructions for use
- Spread the granules evenly over the soil by hand or with a spreader.
- When using a spreader, ensure it is properly adjusted for the fine structure of AZ-Kalk.
- Some plants, such as rhododendrons, azaleas, and heather, actually prefer an acidic soil. These plants therefore do not need lime.
- Avoid spilling the granules on a hard surface. This can cause slipperiness.
