This balcony box features an integrated water reservoir, complete with a water meter to see how much water is in the reservoir. This reservoir is also easily filled via the funnel. Just make sure to remove the plug so that any excess water can drain out. If you want to use the box in a place where no rain falls, such as under a cover, then the plug can stay in. All parts are included and just need to be placed inside the box. The only thing you need to think about is giving the balcony box a nice spot. If you want to hang it up, make sure it is horizontally aligned so that the water meter functions optimally. Even easier: use the set with balcony hooks (available separately) to neatly hang the box. Of course, this balcony box is made from recycled plastic, lightweight, colorfast, and can take a beating.
