Because there are three types of heat transfer available (radiation, contact, and convection heat), all conceivable barbecue techniques can be applied. This 13" kamado is made of high-quality ceramic. Ceramics have the property of retaining heat for a long time and are therefore extremely suitable for the 'Slow Cooking' technique. The temperature is easy to control with the air intake at the foot and the air outlet in the lid of the kamado.
